Chiang and his co-worker aimed to make a light installation whose structure is built with a non-modern engineering approach using hand tools, without scaffolding. Their goal was to emphasize the artwork’s making process and built the structure in traditional ways, similar to bamboo scaffolding. In order to mesh with the local community and the natural environment, they spend nearly a month working on-site, interacting with people, and having limited freedom to develop the structure of the work. In the end, a light installation was built to connect the local community and nature with the process they went through.
