The Artists aimed to combine the curatorial concept of the 2021 Pingtung Lantern Festival, “Light, Shadow, Candy, Paper,” and inspired by the site where the installations were settled, a park whose predecessor is an abandoned sugar factory. Their goal was to transform ordinary objects and the sense of taste into an abstract lighting structure and a visual representation of this park’s history.
