How can I measure the belonging of a room?
I have utilized an ultrasonic sensor for mapping and re-topologizing a room. This sensor captures data and translates it into sound frequencies. The instrument allows participants to explore and identify the sound that resonates with the essence of the room, enabling them to fine-tune the auditory experience.
A room, being a personal space, undergoes a gradual transformation from a neutral environment to one that aligns with your identity. The longer you inhabit it, the more you shape it unconsciously, turning it into your shelter.
Objects, decorations, spatial arrangements, scents, and other tangible elements collectively form your room, making it uniquely yours. This combination of abstract sensations is what I aim to capture with this instrument
