Connections shape who we are, like islands floating in space. Relationships flow like rivers, ever-changing and alive. Our journey, whether through roads or dinners, reflects this organic movement. Small shifts in destiny, like a recipe, alter everything. From physical to spiritual, we find ourselves in the mirrors of others.
When I studied abroad two years ago, it was hard to ignore the loss of belonging and identity as a Taiwanese person, since Taiwan is not recognized as a country in the European Union. Yet while moving around with my friends and sharing dinners together, I found in those moments a glimpse of where I might belong.
